Reworked the kitchen and living spine for a family of four. Removed a load-bearing wall; rebuilt with a steel header. Oak veneer cabinetry, honed limestone island, brass hardware.
Two-storey terrace, opened the rear wall to the garden. Burnished concrete floors throughout the ground floor, blackbutt staircase, slatted timber screens to the upper landing.
Galley kitchen rebuilt around an existing column. Honed travertine splashback, fluted oak fronts, integrated Bosch column oven. Eight working days off the cooker.
First-home renovation on a budget. Kept the original parquet, refinished. New wet areas, full M&E rewire, custom wardrobe to the smaller bedroom. Within the cap to the ringgit.
Combined kitchen and living for a couple who entertain weekly. Plaster-finished walls, terrazzo island, walnut floor, a hand-thrown pendant from a maker in Kuantan.
The original layout ran the kitchen along the rear wall, separated from the living room by a full-height partition. The partition came out — structural header in steel — and the two rooms became one. Oak veneer cabinetry, honed limestone island, brass hardware. Fourteen weeks from contract to keys.
"We were prepared for an argument every two weeks. We did not have a single one. The price we signed on day one is the price we paid on day ninety-eight."

Full reconfiguration for a returning expatriate family. Three bedrooms reduced to two, dressing room added between the master and the en-suite, walnut and brass throughout.
Both bathrooms in a 30-year-old semi-D, replumbed and retiled. Honed limestone in the master, full-height terrazzo mosaic in the guest. Bidet provisions, concealed cisterns.
Full-unit build for a tech couple working from home. Separate study carved from the third bedroom, custom acoustic panel wall, kitchen island that seats four.
Master bedroom and en-suite extended into the adjacent room. Walk-in wardrobe with island dresser. Wenge veneer throughout, heated towel rail, floor-to-ceiling mirror run.
Developer kitchen stripped and rebuilt with Bulthaup B3 cabinetry, Silestone quartz counters, and a Gaggenau appliance column. JMB wet-works sign-off in three days.
Three-storey link-house, full gut renovation. Opened all three floors to a courtyard void; restructured the staircase; external cladding in raw zinc panels. Permitted by DBKL.
The staircase was wrong. It cut the ground floor in half, faced away from the light, and made the house feel smaller than its footprint. We restructured it — opening three floors to a central courtyard void, rezoning M&E around a new slab penetration, cladding the external walls in raw zinc panels. A permit job. Twenty-four weeks.
"The architect told us the DBKL permit would take six months. It took eleven weeks. That is the only number on this project that we didn't control."

Our second completed project. Straight Essential scope: replaster, repipe, rewire, melamine cabinetry, ceramic tile. The benchmark we've been improving on ever since.
The first contract. Kitchen, master bathroom, full M&E rewire. No living room, no bedrooms — scope we could actually finish in 8 weeks as a two-person team.
